Human biomonitoring is a well-established field of research with high rate of scientific production. Still, there is a lack of integrated information required for the production of adequate knowledge. The main aim of Task 7.1 was to identify existing data and data gaps on the area of HBM, including biobank samples. To answer to this aim, a triangulation of methods was used: online questionnaire and literature reviews covering available published and non-published data. Within the scope of Task 7.1, several materials were produced and will be made available: i) Report on ongoing activities and existing data and data gaps for the 1st prioritised substances including a list of metadata that can be uploaded in IPCheM; ii) the databases from the questionnaire on existing surveys in SPSS (.sav), Excel (.xlsx) and Access (.accdb) versions; iii) literature reviews elaborated for the prioritised substances; iv) review of the books of proceedings of HBM-related conferences; v) an integrated SPSS (.sav) database with the data gathered from the questionnaire and from the literature reviews with the more relevant variables. This document includes the ‘Report on ongoing activities and existing data and data gaps for the 1st prioritised substances including a list of metadata that can be uploaded in IPCheM’. The other materials are available in other documents/formats.
